After Party Sleepover

Afternoon hey! Time to write part two of Saturday night's enthusiasm, pardon the wait!

Following our arrival to Nedd's house after #WorldStageMy, we took turns rushing our showers as we couldn't afford to waste the time off such a gold dust event. Of course, everyone began to seek for the wifi password because there were so much about the music fest to share! That annoyed Nedd for sure. What was more infuriating to her was after we obtained the password - everyone lied slackly on the bed, tapping on our smartphones vigorously with screen displays of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc. Can you imagine our reactions when she ordered us to grab the snacks we just bought downstairs? No one budged a muscle. Nedd was sent to an outburst causing us to leave the room in milliseconds. Scary.

I remember I was starving nuts that the 200g pack of Koko Krunch I purchased was gobbled off in seconds. Ah, that reminds me of having such a satisfying cheat day! Before #WorldStageMy I had a sweet red bean sundae from Milkcow & a cinnamon roll from Coffea Coffee, then a bag of sugary cereal at night. Much yum! Did I lied to myself saying I need them calories to rave my way through the fest? I think so. *smirks* Moving on, we had a game of Uno to buy the night time. Yup just one game, that actually took more than HALF AN HOUR (my bad, I set the rule of only one card can be discarded during each turn despite its same number & colour). Twenty minutes later, everyone stared at me like I'm the headmistress of our school, wanting to stab me in the head. Gienne even fell asleep during the game. I don't even remember who won.

Uno for four!
As presumed, every single one of us cried for bedtime immediately after the horrible Uno game ended. Gienne & Michelle slept on the cozy bed, while Nedd & I conquered the wooden-tiled floor. Obviously, I brought my 7-year slumber pal along - Jibby! (aka my sleeping bag) What's not the expected part was me turning into a caterpillar, creating choky laughters in the room.

Wakakakaka.
How I look like when I'm playing Crossy Road.

Caterpillar says goodnight.
Next morning, our plan to hang out in the park was umm, terminated by our unable-to-wake-up heads. Besides Michelle who had to hop out of bed at 7 due to her parents arrival at 8, everyone was whining non-stop while clinging ourselves onto pillows. Sluggish kids we are. Eventually we did nothing until my ride came at half past 9. Regardless of the unproductive morning, oh gosh the night was one of the best hours of darkness I'd ever experienced. Another satisfying tick on my bucket list thanks to the #SneakersSquad! Without them I would had already rot into mushrooms years ago.

Peace out, Nandos. #firsttime
^ Sliding in a little extra of Sunday night, a warm dinner consisting the UOC 14/15 and the Scouters was held at Taipan's Nandos. Believe me or not, it was actually my first time digging into Nandos! (yup just laugh it out bro) Love its extra hot sauce & sweet potato mash. What a fun night to wrap the year off with the fabulous team of 15.

Phew, it's been a long time since I enjoyed such a excitement-filled weekend. Fingers crossed for more before the huge examination barge its way into my life. Also looking forward to next year's #WorldStageMy with the squad!

Cheers, Alanis xx.

Early PewDiePie Likings!

Morning world! As a loyal fan of Pewds, I always have a few gameplays of his which I immensely love despite whether they were posted in the year 2010 or 2015. Stuck in my repeat album, why not I share some of them early ones with you all & you guys can go check out the fun! 10 would be a great number, I suppose.

1.  Pom Gets Wi-Fi

Insanely amusing with second degree burns & dark jokes, this one's definitely an all time favourite. And I'm assuming that you guys would know to pardon the 'crudeness' as umm hey, it's PewDiePie that you're watching, aites!

2. Keep Calm & Make Tea

This one... no words can be said without me choking laughter. Watch it for yourself & you'll understand why.

Don't worry, no spoilers will be spilled! In my words, this heartfelt gameplay stays in a puddle of paranomal happenings, drastic emotions, justice & actual life. More than 10 episodes, I bet you'll be staying up all night with popcorn & a tissue box to satisfy your addicted mind. It's just such an amazing game! Die hard fan of Ellen Page. xx

Similar to the tea one, I laughed my guts out when Pewdie's having a hard time. Best baking skills I'd ever witness!

If you read my previous blog post, you probably noticed something about the rain & the Origami Killer. Yup, this is what I'm referring to. Totally a must to check it out as it tackles your emotions too, tissue box required. All them feels.

6. Bully: Scholarship Edition

Another lengthy gameplay, this oldie hold a classic atmosphere which attracted Pewds to play it. Although it may seem boring to some people due to its early graphics & school-related storyline, I had a great time staying up for this as Pewdie's witty jokes & the way he plays it never fail to interest me.

"Why isn't this table moving? Argh umm don't even bother I swear I'm not a table." I rate this 11 out of 10 dolphins. Adding onto this humorous sequel, Minx was sooooo funny I just can't.

8. The Walking Dead

Entirely different from the TV series you heard about, this one stabs your heart with a heck of a storyline filled with emotions. Don't forget the gore too. You would love this if you love intense gameplays of survival with kids in it. To sum things up, Pewdiepie even cried at its ending.

Currently with 76 episodes, this is actually one of Pewdie's successful playlists most of his fans requested for! Bet you didn't expected a bike riding game to hit the top, eh? Sadly he slowed down on this simple game & now 'plays' his attention on the modern games such as GTA 5 & Infamous: Second Son.

10. The Last Of Us

Last but not least, here's one of the best games of 2013. The alive dead included, this game is glancing more at an unbreakable bond of the two main characters. Fancy the graphics, character movement & voice acting. It's tough to describe it without spoiling it though! Praying hard for part 2.

That's all for today, wishing you peeps a happy week of surprises!

See you soon, Alanis xx.

Essay Gone Wrong

Guess what? English in Writing was the subject of today's examination (besides Physics 2)! Before the exam began, confidence was the soothing element flowing in my blood as English writing is one of my favourite subjects. Especially after having painful Physics, ah I only remember myself scribbling unknown definitions & creating original theories of mine. Playing it cool.

As I was given the question slip, I flipped it to the page behind to search for my targeted topic. And YES, I spot one that could fit my all time favourite story, Infamous: First Light! Without a second thought, I fixed my decision to compose a mildly twisted story that I had wrote in the past two examinations.

It definitely felt safer to scribble a story I aced before, but there was its con too. I was kind of afraid that my teacher would find the story familiar and recalling it from our March test. Hmm, not a scene I would like to see it happen. To prevent such tough luck, I decided to change the names of the characters. Fetch to Danielle, Brent to August (Gus for short). Sounds aboriginal eh? Besides, Danielle is one of the dream names for my future kid. Woots, imagine Danielle as Fetch with her supernatural powers. What am I even thinking? Wake up Alanis!

So things were going well until I lost track of time. Writing the same story for the third time, I could write more descriptively with interesting characteristics and the character's finely detailed thoughts. It felt like I was melting into my story, living it in my head. But the more descriptive I get, the more time I consumed. I got stuck at some sections too when I fail to knock bombastic words out of my head. Torturing but exhilarating feels.

Suddenly, my teacher voiced out "time's up" while I only finished the paragraph of the story's climax. Freaking out, my neat words were soon continued by unidentifiable human symbols I myself felt like crying when I read them back again. With teacher only a few desks away from me already collecting the completed essays, I ended the story with an explosion and August's sudden death. After stapling the pieces of papers together, I rushed to my teacher & handed her my masterpiece. That moment lift up the rock on my chest and soothed the soreness of my right hand. Huge relief laid flat on my panting heart.

But out of a sudden, I realised something very wrong.

I recalled my last sentenced as "That was the last time I ever saw Brent again."

Wait, Brent? Wasn't it suppose to be August?

HOLY CRAP WHY IN THE HEAVENS DID I WROTE BRENT?!

I don't even know what to say anymore. Fml.

I feel you, Fetch.

Infamous: First Light

School just started & last year's marked test papers started flying back one by one, but I never thought I would ever see my favourite English essay again. From the title you guessed it, I wrote about Infamous: First Light!

Well, it wasn't fully the same as the gameplay, I changed some parts of it (can't remember during the test) but it still turned out the way I like, and I would love to share it with you guys! The instructions of the essay is to end it with "since that day, I have never done anything bad again".

So this is how it goes.

"Fetch, mind lending me a hand here? It's our last day of work, after I get my share I'll get you that Shiba Inu dog you wanted." said Brent with a laugh.

"Are you kidding me? Let's go now! I can't wait grabbing its furry little paws!" I screamed with excitement.

My name's Fetch, you probably don't find it a common name, but it's as uncommon as I like it. I am one of those so called "Conduits" who are born with unbelievable powers, but am not happy to be one. My parents called the "Conduit Cops" which are known as D.U.P. when they can't cope with neon lights shooting out of my palms. They rejected me as their own daughter, but luckily my brother, Brent saved me. He grabbed my arm, leaped out the back window and there we ran, to start out new life.

It was tough. No shelter, no food. Brent always protected me from kids who threw pebbles at us or cops that were trying to find us. We have no choice but to steal from grocery stores to stop our bodies from shivering, our tummies from rumbling. I bet you were wondering, why not use my powers? Brent always told me the first rule is to hide my powers. We need to live like normal citizens if we don't want to get into any trouble. Without Brent, we would already be dead or busted. So thankful to have such a great brother.

After years of living under the bridge with the company of rats, things started to come to a change. Brent got a job, an unpleasant one. He was hired by drug dealers near Lantern Town. They said his stealing skills were amazing, letting him go would be a waste. We were given an apartment to stay in, an average pay and the best part - unlimited amount of drugs. Of course, how could we even resist?

Our lives were getting better, or should I say exciting. Shipping drugs in the day, getting paid, sniffing cocaine all day. I can describe it as the life in heaven. Sometimes I would get out of control, I start shooting neon fireworks all around the town, flying around like a neon maniac. Brent was worried, he would ground me and restrict me from going out. I understand his actions, I know he loves me, I just can't help it sometimes.

Last month was the month of my birthday, also the last month of Brent's job. The deal between him and the drug dealers are coming to an end. He wanted to get a better job, at least a legal one. He think that it's too dangerous, especially having to care for me. I could be in trouble if he screws up. It was our last day of drug shipping, I was all hyped up with the drugs spinning in my head. Brent sneaked the drugs onto the boat and we were ready to set sail.

Suddenly, cops appeared at the dock. They look like they are doing their daily patrolling. Brent and I hid in the boat without the sound. I felt itchy and decided to go out and "play" with the cops. Brent tried to stop me, but my ears weren't even functioning at that time.

So I leaped out like a monkey and showed the cops some magic tricks. I shot them with neon lights and chased them while they ran. It was fun, seeing them running off like a heap of zebras. I chuckled and walked back towards the boat.

But things weren't as fine as it seems.

In a sudden, D.U.P. helicopters and army tanks arrived at the scene. Brent and I were surrounded by a deadly team. Without my mind awake, I fought back with neon blasts and grenades. Explosions were everywhere. Gunshots were fired. I was actually enjoying myself, unleashing my powers after so long. It felt awesome, like I'm unstoppable.

Soon enough, I realised the D.U.P. were starting to fall back. My evil laugh filled the town. I can't believe I'm beating the deadliest force on earth. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

"Fetch! Look out!" shouted Brent as these are his last words to me.

A rocket bomb dropped onto our boat. Then what I could remember seeing was a bright explosion that blinded me. Everything was muted, I was thrown into the sea. When I was awake, I found myself in a cage. Yes, a cage, with the initials "D.U.P." engrossed on its door. I broke into tears, my panic attack struck once again. Everything was in a big mess.

When I still had the hope to see Brent again, a D.U.P. officer handed me his half-burnt cap. I was the the cap I gave it to him on his 18th birthday. That was when my world tumbled down like an earthquake, crashing onto my soul. I regretted so bad as it was all my fault being such a brat. I couldn't even listen to my brother's first rule. What kind of sister am I? I know you'll never forgive me Brent. I'm so sorry, Brent.

Since that day, I have never done anything bad again.

I miss you, Brent.
